AnJie Law Firm recently hired three partners to help expand its capabilities particularly in insurance and maritime law.
Li Gang has been a partner in firms for more than 10 years and specializes in civil and commercial law, dispute resolution and criminal defence, particularly insurance law and tort law.
He has worked for many insurance companies, and been in charge of compliance review, product development, consultations on underwriting and claims assessment, claim settlement resolution, and other areas. He acted as an attorney in the first case in the first nationwide finance court in Shanghai.
Prior to joining AnJie, Samuel Qi practised in a well-known domestic law firm, with a long-term focus on the maritime, insurance, banking and finance legal sectors, as well as having experience in litigation and non-litigation, and arbitration matters in relation to these areas.
He has represented a number of insurance companies and shipping companies in cases including marine insurance and carriage of goods, and acted for banks to provide guarantees, factoring, trusts, commercial paper, compliance and further legal services.
Sun Honggang previously worked within a large domestic company, and in top maritime law firms for more than 10 years. He has dealt with various types of cases related to maritime, insurance, bank letters of credit and guarantees, litigations and arbitrations involving international factors and other types of dispute resolution. He also has experience in ship financing and ship building projects.
