The Association of Corporate Counsel Hong Kong (ACCHK) launched a Guide for In-house Counsel on Pro bono Legal Work in Hong Kong at the Asia Pro Bono Conference held in Hong Kong from 25-27 October.
The guide was produced by ACCHK’s Pro Bono Legal Services Committee in conjunction with DLA Piper Hong Kong.
The guide is a crowning achievement for ACCHK, being the first publication of its kind for the in-house community. It covers a range of topics, from the scope of pro bono services and the current regulatory Hong Kong landscape, to practical commentary on how in-house teams can establish pro bono programmes, information on key organizations in Hong Kong that are in need of pro bono legal services, and support and advocacy for pro bono engagement by the Hong Kong legal community.
