Amarchand Mangaldas acted as legal counsel to Alstom T&D India in its issue of 16,942,500 equity shares to qualified institutional buyers through an institutional placement programme.
Alstom T&D India, a subsidiary of the French company Alstom, issued the shares to comply with the 25% minimum public shareholding requirement prescribed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for listed companies.
