Amendments bring clarity to Anti-Unfair Competition Law

In last issue’s Business Law Digest section, we discussed the major implications of draft amendments to the Anti-Unfair Competition Law (AUCL), recently released by the State Council for public consultation. The draft amendments have provided more clarity to the existing law. Tougher enforcement measures have been imposed against commercial bribery. In this issue, we summarize the key features of the draft amendments in comparison with the existing AUCL (see the table below).
