Registrations for the inaugural Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Asia-Pacific Annual Meeting are open and going fast, say organizers. The one-day conference will be held on 11 April 2019 at the Island Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong, and will feature multiple concurrent streams covering substantive law, law department management, as well as innovation and legal technology.
“This event will focus on driving innovation and exploring new ways of thinking in the way law departments are managed, and on how they deliver value to their organizations,” said Tanya Khan, managing director and vice president, ACC Asia-Pacific.
“We aim to ensure that delegates receive a mix of practical information that they can take back to their organizations and implement immediately, as well as content that encourages new ways of thinking and that can drive structural innovations in legal department management.”
ACC says a unique aspect of the event is the geographic diversity of attendees. Within two weeks of registrations having opened, registrations had been received from delegates in Hong Kong, Singapore, mainland China, Australia, India and Japan.
“It’s fantastic that the event is attracting such a diverse in-house audience,” said Khan. “The ACC Asia-Pacific Annual Meeting aims to strengthen links across the regional in-house community, and we’re delighted to welcome what will be an incredibly diverse representation of the in-house community to Hong Kong.”
