Regulatory; labour & employment; dispute resolution
Roy Santos is one of the founding partners of PJS Law. He heads the energy litigation group of the firm and co-leads the labour & employment team. Roy is also heavily involved in dispute resolution and has assisted the Republic of the Philippines in arbitration proceedings conducted in Paris, France, under the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).
Roy received his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of the Philippines in 1995, graduating in the top 20 of his class. He obtained the 15th highest ranking in the 1995 Philippine Bar Examinations and has completed a course on International Commercial Arbitration conducted by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). He was a professor in Labour Law at the University of the East College of Law. Roy is a trustee and active member of Kythe Foundation, a Philippine NGO aimed towards improving the quality of life among hospitalized children with cancer and other chronic illness.
