FenXun Partners has appointed Li Haifeng as a counsel in its Beijing dispute resolution practice group. Li is the latest in a series of hires for Baker McKenzie and FenXun Partners as they seek to further expand their joint operation, which has operated through the Shanghai Free Trade Zone (FTZ) since 2015.
Haifeng’s practice focuses on international arbitration and commercial litigation. He joins the firm from China National Agrochemical Corp, where he was chief legal officer.
Abe Zhao also recently joined Fen-Xun Partners as international tax director as part of the strategy to further develop the joint operation in Shanghai.
Zhao’s role will focus on global tax strategy, structures and transfer pricing. He joined FenXun from Huawei, where he was a global tax director for consumer business group and e-commerce.
