In ICICI Bank Ltd and Anr v The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai & Ors, Bombay High Court dismissed a petition by ICICI Bank, which challenged a demand by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai that required it to obtain permission and pay fees for displaying illuminated signboards on bank premises, automatic teller machines (ATMs) and extension counters.
