Board changes chairs at Duan & Duan

A recent boardroom reshuffle at Duan & Duan saw William Wu take over as director from Steven Gong. Gong is now chairman, while Charles Duan was appointed the lifelong honorary chairman, and George Wang is executive chairman.

Wu has expertise in World Trade Organization and trade agreements, intellectual property protection, international investment, international anti-monopoly, and international anti-dumping. He is experienced in international trade, M&A, intellectual property, anti-dumping, financial and resources.

Duan is the founder of Duan & Duan. His practice area includes capital markets, international trade, foreign direct investment, corporation and commercial, securities and banking, project financing, arbitration and litigation and insurance.

Gong specializes in domestic and foreign investment, corporate and M&A, negotiation and settlement for commercial disputes, and real estate.

Wang’s practising fields include inbound and outbound investment, M&A, capital markets, compliance and daily legal advisory. Wang has represented foreign investors in more than 100 FDI and M&A projects. He is familiar with laws and regulations in sectors such as internet, medical, chemical, food, automobile and machinery manufacturing.
