Introduction

Mr. Lin has comprehensive educational background in engineering and law. His business areas include patents, copyrights, trade secrets, unfair competition, technology media telecom. He as the leading attorney defended Sinovel in actions brought by American Superconductor for copyright infringement and trade secret misappropriation in which the claimed damage (RMB 3 billion) is so far the highest in IP litigations between China and United States.

Besides, he provides intellectual property services for well-known Internet and high-tech enterprises such as Samsung, ZTE, Xiaomi, Meituan, Youku, Kingsoft, etc. He also provide comprehensive intellectual property services for the Ministry of Transport, Tsinghua University, Qilu Pharmaceutical, YRPG, Evergrande Real Estate, and Ping An Groups and other national ministries and large commercial institutions.

Award

IN 2008,Mr. Lin represented the copyright infringement dispute of the “Struggle” TV series and became a typical case of the “red flag standard” in the infringement case of information network dissemination rights; In 2009,he represented Tsinghua University in a well-known trademarks and unfair competition case, which was marked as typical IP cases by Beijing High People’s Court; In 2015,he represented Xiaomi in winning a case against Qihoo regarding jurisdiction objection , which is selected into the Annual Top Ten IP Creative Cases by Beijing courts; In 2018, his case Xiaomi vs. Li’s reputation right dispute was selected into the top ten network typical cases of the reputation of the Haidian Court.

He was named as the outstanding young lawyer recommended by CLECSS in 2017.In 2018, he was selected as the leading Chinese lawyer – Antitrust and Competition Law. He was included in China Business Law Journal ‘s A Listin 2018.In 2019, he was selected as the leading Chinese lawyer  – Antitrust and Competition Law. He was named as China Excellent Intellectual Property Lawyer by ZHICHANLI and IPRdaily.
