Introduction

Vivien Chan is the founding and senior partner of Vivien Chan & Co., a Greater China law firm with offices in Hong Kong (1985) and Beijing (1993). She has over 30 years of experience in M&A, China direct investment, corporate services, employment, technology transfers, information technology, intellectual property and related tax issues. She is an award winning practitioner in her areas of practice.

Chan was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017 by the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and has been recently recognized as WIPR Leaders 2019 of Trademark and Patent. She was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star (BBS) in 2008 and Silver Bauhinia Star (SBS) in 2014 by the HKSAR Government for her outstanding contributions to Hong Kong. In 2010, she was named as one of China’s 100 Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs. She was the recipient of the 2005 Outstanding Hong Kong Women Professionals and Entrepreneurs award.
