Introduction

Graduated from China University of Political Science and Law in 1986, Qi Zhou is a founding partner and the director of the Management Committee of East & Concord Partners. Mr. Zhou is also a senior and reputable arbitrator in the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, the Arbitration Center Across the Straits, Qingdao Arbitration Commission and Hainan Arbitration Commission. In addition, Mr. Zhou is a part-time professor at the Law School of China University of Political Science and Law and Law School of Wuhan University.

With over thirty years of working experience, Mr. Zhou focuses on legal services related to civil and commercial dispute resolution. On the one hand, Mr. Zhou has successfully handled a large number of major and difficult commercial lawsuits and arbitration cases for international and domestic clients, including but not limited to CITIC Group, China Resources Group, State Development and Investment Corporation (SDIC), China Minmetals Corporation, China Huadian Corporation, China National Travel Service Group Corporation, Sinosteel, China National Agricultural Development Group, COSCO Shipping, China Chengtong Holdings Group Co. Ltd., Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, the Bank of China, China Great Wall Asset Management Co., Ltd., China Orient Asset Management Co., Ltd., China Credit Trust, ZhongRong Trust BHP, Conoco Phillips, Standard Chartered Bank, Lafarge, Ameropa, Microsoft, FIAT, DIEHL and TISHMAN SPEYER. On the other hand, Mr. Zhou has handled hundreds of different types of arbitration cases as an arbitrator.

Mr. Zhou’s Professional Abilities and Services have received wide recognition of clients in the legal industry. In 2016, Mr. Zhou was selected as one of the Top 15 Litigators in China by ALB. In 2017, Mr. Zhou was nominated as the Star of Dispute Resolution by Asialaw. From 2015 to 2018, Mr. Zhou was consecutively selected as a Leading Lawyer in Dispute Resolution by Asialaw Profiles.
