Introduction

Jerry Ye is a partner at Jingtian & Gongcheng Attorneys at Law. His practice areas are capital markets, corporations, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture-capital investments. Ye has participated in numerous domestic gigantic groups and rapid-growth enterprises’ overseas initial public offerings as legal adviser to issuers or sponsors. He helped domestic and foreign companies to issue various types of bonds abroad. He provided legal services to many multinational enterprises and investment funds in their FDI and M&A deals in China. He is also very active in the areas of real estate, infrastructure, project financing, equity incentive, and family affairs. His representative IPO deals include Anta Sports, Xtep, 361, Biostime, Four Seasons Education, Meitu and Xiaomi, among others and his representative private-equity deals are Xiaopeng Motors, Hive-Box, Bosideng, SenseTime, Wondernews, etc. Prior to joining Jingtian & Gongcheng, Ye worked at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP Shanghai office. He was a director of Longling Investment. He is an independent director of Jiangsu Dafeng Rural Commercial Bank and Shanghai Tianqing Tiantuo Information Technology. Ye graduated from Fudan University and received a master’s degree in law in 2006. He also received an EMBA degree from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business. China Business Law Journal listed him as one of the China’s Top 100 Lawyers both in 2017 and 2018.
