Meru’s CCI complaint
Trilegal successfully represented Ola against allegations of anti-competitive agreements and alleged abuse of a dominant position, in contravention of section 3 and section 4 of the Competition Act, 2002. Meru filed four separate complaints with the Competition Commission of India (CCI) against Ola and Uber India.
The CCI said the facts and evidence presented had not led to the establishment of a prima facie case against Ola and Uber India, and it closed the case. Partner and national head of competition law practice Nisha Kaur Uberoi led the Trilegal team.
