A team of eight lawyers recently joined FenXun Partners’ finance & projects practice in Beijing. The new team is led by partners Shirley Wang and Grace Chen, and includes six associates.
Wang specializes in cross-border lending transactions, debt capital markets and asset securitization, including syndicated loans, project finance, export credit, corporate bonds (both onshore and offshore), M&A, and regulatory and compliance matters.
Wang has more than two decades of experience in representing domestic and multinational companies on their China inbound and outbound transactions, including deals in relation to the Belt and Road Initiative. She has also acted as external general legal counsel for China Development Bank, The Export-Import Bank of China, Bank of China, China CITIC Bank, China Minsheng Bank, CNOOC Finance Corporation and China State Construction Finance.
Chen focuses on banking and finance, corporate and M&A matters. Over the years, she has advised banks and corporations on complex domestic and cross-border investment and financing activities, including syndicated loans, project finance and trade finance. She advises clients across sectors such as energy, mining, real estate, agriculture and manufacturing.
