Asenior executive of Beijing-headquartered Guantao Law Firm said the firm’s integration with Shanghai-based Shenda Partners, following their merger in August, would be completed quickly and smoothly.
Cui Liguo, the president of Guantao, told China Business Law Journal that Guantao and Shenda’s merger was a “flash marriage”, and that there must be a process of integration. To facilitate the process, four partners of Shenda and three partners of Guantao’s Shanghai office will form the executive committee of the new Shanghai office.
