If a woman wants to file a sexual harassment complaint, she must do so in writing within three months of the date of the incident. The Internal Complaints Committee or Local Complaints Committee has 90 days to investigate a matter and a further 10 days in which to issue a report based on its findings. Employers are then expected to act on the committee’s recommendations within 60 days of receiving the report. An appeal before a court or tribunal against the committee’s decision is permitted within 90 days of the date of the recommendations.
