MP Bharucha is the senior partner of Bharucha & Partners, which he co-founded in 2008. His practice is multi-faceted, primarily focused on corporate and commercial disputes. Throughout his career, Bharucha has straddled practice areas ranging from litigation, dispute resolution and advisory.
Bharucha’s dispute resolution practice includes complex commercial litigation and arbitration (both domestic and international) and covers a wide range of matters including joint venture disputes, construction disputes, hostile takeovers, etc. With over 40 years of continuing practice, Bharucha has been recognized as a leading litigator in various publications including Chambers and Partners, Legal 500 and RSG Consulting. He is also engaged as an expert on Indian law.
Bharucha graduated from the University of Bombay. He is a solicitor of Bombay High Court, England & Wales and Hong Kong. He is the vice president of Bombay Incorporated Law Society and an advocate-on-record of the Supreme Court of India.
