Vivek Vashi is recognized as a leading dispute resolution practitioner in India.
He commenced his career in law as a trainee in 1999 with Amarchand & Mangaldas (as it was then called). On his qualification in 2002, he was retained as an associate and as a senior associate after he qualified as a solicitor in 2004. In 2008, Vashi co-founded Bharucha & Partners.
Vashi and Vashi was founded in 2017 by Vashi after he parted ways with his erstwhile firm along with his entire team of 17 associates in order to set up an independent practice in Mumbai. Following a spectacular run over the last year, Vashi and Vashi now has a team of 20 associates and is poised to handle complex and high-stakes disputes across India. This includes litigation before all tribunals, magistrates and courts, including the Supreme Court, and domestic and international arbitrations, including LCIA, SIAC and ICC arbitrations.
Vashi has always dealt with intricate disputes and multifaceted litigations and has made his mark as the forerunner for dispute resolution in Mumbai.
