Japanese big fish ties up with Thai firm

Mori Hamada & Matsumoto is to integrate with Thailand’s Chandler & Thong-ek Law Offices in a process that will be completed by January 2017. The new operation in Thailand will be called Chandler MHM Limited. Satoshi Kawai, a partner who specializes in cross-border M&A and international trade, and Niwes Phancharoenworakul, the managing partner of C&T, will lead the new practice, according to MHM’s head office.
