King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) recently hired Huang Ling as a partner in its Beijing office. Prior to joining KWM, she was a partner and the Beijing office chief representative at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.
Huang has focused on cross-border M&A transactions involving various industries and transaction types, and across different regions. She has represented large Chinese state-owned enterprises, well-known private-owned companies and international private equity firms in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, investments and joint venture transactions.
She also has experience in advising Fortune 500 companies and multinational conglomerates in foreign direct investment transactions in China.
Huang joins KWM’s global platform and is a member of the firm’s US management team, working to improve KWM’s capabilities in cross-border M&A, private equity, foreign direct investment and capital markets.
KWM also expanded its US capabilities with the appointment of Aaron Wolfson as a partner in the New York office. He will spearhead KWM’s US practice areas in dispute resolution, litigation, and financial crimes compliance out of the New York office.
