Lawyer pens book on infrastructure arbitration

Manoj K Singh, the founding partner of Singh & Associates (S&A), recently launched a book titled Infrastructure Arbitration – A Perspective at a legal event in Gurugram. The publication seeks to provide comprehensive insight into infrastructure arbitration in India, with an emphasis on road projects.

Singh’s book covers the evolution of jurisprudence and legislative efforts undertaken in the area of infrastructure disputes. It deals with the history of infrastructure development in India, the current scenario, and the principal reasons for disputes in the infrastructure industry.

It is intended as a reference guide for in-house counsel, construction lawyers, project managers, project leaders, developers and contractors. The book was launched at the legal event Quest 2.0 by Justice Dipak Misra, former chief justice of India, and Lalit Bhasin, president of the Society of Indian Law Firms and president of the Bar Council of India.

The theme of the event was “Arbitration: Legal Insights and Updates” and was attended by judicial heavyweights such as Delhi High Court judge Hima Kohli, and retired judges from various high courts including justices Sudhir Katriyar and Anil Kumar.
