Shashwat Patel has joined Simmons & Simmons as counsel and the head of India in the firm’s corporate group in London. Patel joins from Debevoise & Plimpton (D&P) in London, where he was a senior associate.
“The Simmons platform has solid brand equity, including in India,” Patel told India Business Law Journal, adding that the firm had a presence in many key cities in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
