Dhaval Vussonji & Associates has promoted two associate partners to the partnership, and four senior associates to principal associates.
Manisha Paranjape and Sonam Mhatre, both also qualified solicitors, are the firm’s newest partners. Commenting on them both , managing partner Prachi Dave told India Business Law Journal: “The two newly promoted partners are an integral part of the firm since its inception. Clients repose immense faith in them and directly reach out to them for their needs. These promotions are to bring acknowledgement to the confidence reposed in them by our clients.”
Both assume the role of rainmakers and team leaders driving business “in a way that execution of work happens seamlessly”, Dave added.
Paranjape specializes in general corporate and real estate. “Manisha’s commitment to the firm and her team has been commendable,” Dave said. “Her team members and colleagues have always relied on her in times of need, and her versatility in leading complicated matters across all practice areas is truly laudable.”
Mhatre focuses on arbitration and dispute resolution. “Sonam has been associated with the firm for the past seven years,” Dave said. “Her single-minded focus, in terms of how she has led her team, has been noteworthy. Her
contribution to the growing practice area of dispute resolution and litigation has been invaluable. Sonam has been able to not only keep pace, but to lead her team in the wake of constantly evolving laws with RERA [Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016], IBC [Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016] etc., thus reflecting her true calibre.”
