RecruVia gets funding

Legal tech startup RecruVia has secured an undisclosed amount of funding from a group of foreign and Indian investors. The company will utilize the funds to complete the development of its software-as-a-service self-learning recruitment search engine. “Our venture has a single aim,” said RecruVia founder Sachin Sukumar. “To make the search for the right legal candidate or job easy and provide a ‘fit for purpose’ [solution] to those recruiting and being recruited.”

RecruVia pairs candidates with job descriptions on a rule-based matching system and is developing a machine learning-based engine to sharpen its search. The company was set up over three years ago by Sukumar and was bootstrapped until this round.
