The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Hong Kong has an interesting series of events planned for November.
On 8 November at Four Seasons Hotel, a presentation entitled “General Counsel: Reaching new heights? ‘8C’ Strategic Counsel Model” will explore the attributes that help propel GCs to the top table, to what degree GCs have increased their influence, and with respect to today’s GC roles, what we are seeing emerge as longer-term or alternative career aspirations?
Together, Jonathan Warne, author of the CMS General Counsel Report General Counsel: Reaching new heights?, and David Lamb, executive director and group counsel of Hongkong Land, will unveil the ‘8C’ Strategic Counsel Model – the eight key leadership competencies GCs need to master – over an interactive facilitated breakfast discussion.
