International tech law practice Osborne Clarke strengthened its technology, media and communications (TMC) sector team in Hong Kong with the hire of Albert Yuen, who joined on 1 August.
With more than 18 years’ experience at top-tier law firms in Australia and the US, Yuen is a senior commercial transactions and advisory lawyer specializing in information technology, digital and telecommunications law, as well as commercial law.
He advises clients on technology and digital contracting, licensing and outsourcings, IT transformations, systems implementations, telecoms, cloud services, privacy/data protection, big data, cyber security and internet of things (IoT), related regulatory issues and other emerging technology transactions.
He has been working with multinationals in jurisdictions including Australia, Southeast Asia and North America, and completed senior in-house legal secondments advising on TMC matters at Telstra and Ooredoo Myanmar.
