More than 60 in-house counsel attended the India Corporate Counsel Association’s (ICCA) Mumbai In-house Counsel Meet at Taj Lands End, Bandstand, in Bandra (West) on 18 August.
“Topics which were discussed focused on the requirement of reforms for the in-house counsel community,” said Ashok Sharma, the founding president of the ICCA. “There were lively discussions and interaction between speakers and the audience.”
The line-up of sessions covered included: A discussion on the requirement of reform for the in-house community; Navigating the regulatory environment for corporates in India; Mergers & Acquisitions: the importance of post-synergy integration support; Capital Markets in India and abroad: which country should you list in?; Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code; and Cyber Crime – Is India ready for it?
