Tanner De Witt announced the appointment of Peter Spizzirri as the firm’s first chief operations officer, effective from 12 August 2019. Spizzirri joins as Tanner De Witt’s, one of Hong Kong’s largest independent law firms, is set to tip the scales at 100 employees in the next few months – a first for the firm.

An operations and change management leader, Peter has led complex assignments and cross-functional teams in a number of industries in Hong Kong in the past 20 years.

Spizzirri has spent the past decade in legal firms undergoing strategic expansion. Prior to joining Tanner De Witt, he held positions as practice manager at Holman Fenwick Willan and as general manager for Asia at Berwin Leighton Paisner.

Spizzirri is a longtime member of Hong Kong’s rugby community, having played for the Hong Kong team for more than a decade, while also serving coaching appointments with the U16s and Women’s programmes. In 2016, he was inducted into the Hong Kong Rugby Union’s Hall of Fame.
