Bangkok-based international law firm Pisut & Partners has appointed commercial and corporate law specialist Douglas Mancill as of counsel.
Mancill has more than 20 years of expertise in commercial, corporate, anti-corruption and international dispute resolution matters, having represented a wide range of US, European and Japanese companies with operations and subsidiaries.
Prior to joining Pisut & Partners, Mancill was a senior consultant at DLA Piper, where he handled compliance matters and investigations involving the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Prior to that he was a partner at PriceSanond, formally known as Deacons, one of Thailand’s oldest practising international law firms, and before that was partner in the US law firm of Graham & James (now Squire Patton Boggs), which was then affiliated with PriceSanond.
A dual national (Thai and American) Mancill has written and spoken extensively on legal issues in Asia and the US. He holds a number of leadership positions in committees and taskforces, including chair of the Legal Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand.
