Transparency International publishes corruption perception index

On 3 December 2014, Transparency International (TI) launched its latest Corruption Perceptions Index 2014. The index ranks countries and territories based on how corrupt their public sector is perceived to be. In this latest index, 175 countries are included, with Hong Kong ranking No. 17 and China ranking No. 100. Hong Kong dropped two places from last year while China dropped a more significant 20 places.
