Mandy Wong and Zhang Daying recently joined Latham & Watkins in Hong Kong as counsel in the firm’s capital markets practice. Their addition will add further depth to the firm’s debt and equity capital markets practice in Greater China.
Wong’s practice covers general commercial and corporate finance transactions, with experience advising PRC and international corporations on their listings in Hong Kong, and financial institutions on their capital markets transactions across Asia.
Working in both China and the US, Zhang focuses on corporate finance and securities transactions, advising issuers and underwriters, particularly in the TMT, financial services and energy sectors. She also advises on corporate governance and regulatory matters.
“As more and more Chinese companies seek to list in Hong Kong and the US, [their] cross-border experience, skills, and business acumen will be an asset to our practice and our clients,” said Cathy Yeung, chair of Latham’s Greater China practice.
