Twelve Tables Law Firm (TTL) recently hired Li Yang and Jiang Tao as partners in its patent litigation and prosecution practices. Li has more than 17 years of experience in technology areas including telecoms, wired and wireless communication systems, and semiconductors. Jiang has extensive experience in the patent application, invalidity, litigation and biotechnology sectors.
Li was formerly deputy director and examiner of the Patent Re-examination Board of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA). During that period, he examined about 600 telecoms patent invalidity cases involving some critical manufacturers in the telecoms industry.
