Former Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan (L&S) corporate partner Ajay Joseph has launched a corporate, M&A and real estate law firm, Veyrah Law, with independent counsel Sandhya Sondhi.
The firm will focus on general corporate matters, M&A, venture capital and private equity, real estate and corporate dispute resolution. The founders said Veyrah was created “with an objective of developing and nurturing meaningful relations with domestic and international mid-market clients”.
Joseph, who worked previously with Amarchand Mangaldas and Khaitan & Co, specializes in corporate acquisitions, cross-border investments, takeovers and mergers, and venture capital and private equity investments. He also advises foreign companies on their India entry strategies, including through the subsidiary model, technology or intellectual property licensing, joint ventures and franchising.
